  • First CADD system implemented

  • Education design team inception
  • Commissioned as District Architect for North Tonawanda City School District
  • Firm grows to staff of 8 and relocates to Amherst, New York
  • North Tonawanda High School Gymnasium / Auditorium
  • Commercial design team inception

1991

  • First Tops International prototype, adaptive reuse, Maple/Bailey, Amherst, New York

1992

  • First Tops International supermarket, new build Niagara Falls, New York

1994

  • First virtual building

1995

  • Hospitality / Entertainment design team inception
  • Marvel Mania, Los Angeles, California

1996

  • First firm strategic planning retreat
  • Matthew Moscati joins firm full-time

1997

  • Completed 100th Wilson Farms convenience store, Tonawanda, New York
  • Became licensed in 10th state.
  • First Planet Hollywood in Gurnee Mills, Illinois

1998

  • Commissioned with Buffalo City Schools to modernize seven schools
  • Commissioned as District Architect for the Wilson Central School
  • In-house Civil P.E. joins TRM
  • Tops Market, Lewiston, New York
  • Wilson Farms, Irondequoit, New York

1999

  • Niagara University Gallagher Center (NCAA Division I basketball arena)
  • Firm grows to staff of 20, including 4 registered architects, and relocates to Allentown Historical District in Buffalo, New York

2000

  • Civic Design team inception
  • Commissioned by Disney Regional Entertainment as ESPN Zone design team leader

2001

  • First ESPN Zone in Las Vegas, Nevada
  • First Tops Express in Western New York
  • Second firm strategic planning retreat
  • TRM Website goes online
  • First U.S. government commission, United States Postal Service multi-title term contract
  • North Tonawanda High School Library / Media Center
  • Completed 125th Tops Market in Ithaca, New York

2002

  • Completed first LEED Registered project in Western New York
  • First Erie County commission, Erie County Medical Center, multi-title term contract

2003

  • Lexington Real Foods Cooperative designed for Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, New York
  • Completed first The Cheesecake Factory in Kansas City, Missouri

2004

  • First Verizon Commision
  • Landmark Cafe Renovation at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport
  • Buffalo State College- Cassety Hall Renovation
  • Commisioned by Peace Bridge Authority for New Duty Free Americas Building
  • ESPN Zone - Baltimore, MD:
    TRM conducted field visits to document conditions and finishes after a major hurricane with a damaging flood.
  • The Cheesecake Factory - Pittsburgh, PA
  • The Cheesecake Factory - Cincinnati, OH
  • USPS Alden Post Office:
    TRM designed a new roof drainage system to solve the drainage problem at the facility.

2005

  • Marian Hall - Niagara University:
    TRM prepared the schematic designs for the College of Education at NU
  • Noco - East Aurora, NY:
    Expansion and renovation of the free standing location featuring the "Store within a store concept" of Charlie the Butcher Express.
  • LaScala Restaurant - Amherst, NY:
    TRM designed the renovation of an existing Greek diner into a unique dining experience with a large bar area, two atrium dining areas, a private dining section, as well as a pizza oven.
  • Prime 490 - 490-492 Rhode Island, Buffalo, NY:
    TRM designed the renovation of an existing high-end steakhouse.
  • Lexington Co-Op - Buffalo, NY:
    TRM designed a new cooperative market that blended with the context of Elmwood Avenue, while also incorporating energy efficient elements.
  • Duty Free Americas Peace Bridge - Buffalo, NY:
    Demolition of the old facility and complete construction of a new Duty Free facility. A customs and border protection facility were also included in this project.
  • The Cheesecake Factory - Louisville, KY
  • Grand Lux Café - Garden City, NY
  • First International Design Commission. Bridgetown Barbados
  • Successfully completed $18,000,000 capital project with Wilson Central Schools
  • Became Licensed in 30th State
  • First NOCO Energy Corp. Commision

  • Wilson Central School District - Wilson, NY:
    High/Middle School, Thomas Marks Elementary School, Stevenson Elementary School
    Additions and alterations addressing health safety and welfare
    New entries designed for the schools
  • Veteran’s Association of Western New York:
    Digital Radiology
    VA Building #6 - Conversion of old housing to living space for female soldiers coming back from war with post traumatic stress syndrome.
    Medical Gas Alarm System
  • Houlihan’s - Algonquin, IL:
    This project represents TRM’s first Houlihan’s, a restaurant that was designed off the 2005 prototype.
  • Devon Seafood - Chicago, IL:
    Design for a new high-end seafood restaurant located in a high-rise, upscale condominium building serving downtown Chicago.
  • Tops Markets - Various locations around Western New York:
    Interior décor changes, equipment updates, new electrical and mechanical systems, as well as exterior clean-up, repairs, and paint touch-ups.
  • Grand Island Fire Company - Grand Island, NY:
    TRM designed the new apparatus bays to accommodate newer, larger equipment plus the redesign of the main entrance for the facility.
  • Noco Headquarters - Tonawanda, NY:
    Office renovation for the Noco Headquarters located at 2440 Sheridan Drive in Tonawanda, NY.
    TRM has designed plans for renovating the headquarters 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors using partitions to separate the office space within the building.
    TRM has also designed plans for the signage on the exterior of this building.
