Founded in 1977, TRM Architect is a Western New York based architectural / engineering firm with strong local ties and a broad spectrum of diversified clients. As strategic partners and collaborators, our commitment is to provide our clients with creative, buildable, and sustainable designs. We pride ourselves on high standards for technical accuracy, accountability to budget control, and dedication to finding innovative solutions that work. At TRM Architect, we believe that endurable, environmentally responsible design and preservation of architectural resources is ultimately good for our clients and the greater community.

How we operate:

Our 20+ person firm is organized by four major market sectors. Each market sector is structured into 7 to 10 member teams comprised of personnel with diversified backgrounds. Each team is led by a single point of responsibility facilitating individual project advancement, as well as respective team education, training and development within the specific design market sector. These teams are comprised of the required specialists to complete projects with proven team leadership, responsive project management, and efficient technical expertise.

Project Experience

TRM’s project experience has expanded over the years to represent four distinct market sectors: hospitality/entertainment, education, commercial and civic. Each project that TRM undertakes is approached with care and creativity to ensure that the client's needs are met and exceeded throughout the process and the end result of the project is something that everyone can be proud of. Whether the job is of small-scale or large, TRM approaches each project with the same goals, to build a lasting relationship with the client while designing a facility that can endure changes in time, environment and building trends. Nearly thirty years of project experience has allowed TRM to become a leader in each sector, attracting clients from around the state of New York as well as the rest of the United States with a diverse range of projects: school gyms, art museums, grocery stores, fire departments, historic building rehabilitations, restaurants and post offices, among many others.
